Cord operated 30mm diameter decorative aluminium curtain pole
For use with medium weight curtains
Each system will be supplied fully assembled, made-to-measure
Aluminium pole in 14 different finishes:
    Price Group 1 - black, white, matt white, ecru
    Price Group 2A -  anodic grey, slate grey, gunmetal, charcoal, chrome
    Price Group 2B -  bronze, antique bronze, sand, taupe, ochre
Chrome poles over 3.95m will be supplied in 2 pieces with a central join
For heavier curtains or where one curtain is wider than the other, poles can be corded from both ends via an intermediate
pulley and will be supplied in 2 pieces
All corded Metropoles/curtain poles will be supplied with a cord drop based on the fixing height of the pole. Child Safety Laws
specify that the finished cord drop must be a minimum of 1.5m from the ground. See silent-gliss-child-safety.html
Can be bent (min radius 450mm) for bay or curved windows etc. whilst retaining efficient operation

What is the wave heading system

Allows the curtains to hang in continuous wave which is smooth, simple and elegant.

The wave glider cord is added to track during manufacture. It is available in two sizes:

60mm for smaller waves
80mm for larger waves

Scratch and expensive

The track arrived very scratched and is expensive for what it is. I was going to order one for the bay window but will look for something else.

Thank you for taking time to review our product. We are sincerely sorry that you are disappointed. Due to courier issues this order was misrouted and the scratches occurred during several days in transit. A full free of charge replacment was offered but declined.

I am delighted with this track, looks great and works well.

However I would never have ordered Metropole without the valuable advise from Rebecca concerning the making of the curtains for this particular rail.
I would happily use and recommend Ritetrack.

Track is what we wanted but a couple of disappointing things with something that is so expensive. The finials were slightly damaged but where the damage was we decided to keep them as the marks cannot be seen. We ordered additional 'fancy' brackets and one was completely broken. I spoke to Silent Gliss and a replacement sent straight away so no real issues as good customer service.

Lovely bit of kit, but as an amateur I spent a long time working out where to put the curtain hooks on the non overlap side as I was not aware of any instructions advising me there were two runners provided.
